Peter Lehmann's flagship vintage Shiraz which is released as a five year old wine after ageing in French and American oak.  The 2004 Barossa vintage produced small quantities of top quality fruit which have resulted in a dark, brooding, concentrated wine.  Intense black/red in colour which lead onto a powerful nose of spice, dark chocolate and prunes.  The palate is full bodied with fantastic weight and a a rounded, velvety, spicy lengthy finish.  Drink now or cellar for up to a decade.  Decanting is recommended as the wine is unfiltered and will throw a sediment.
