Drinking beautifully now, the 2002 Feytit-Clinet is a real joy. Made from 90% Merlot & 10% Cabernet Franc it shows a rich nose of deep mocha, wood smoke, vanilla and ripe red fruits. The palate, as you would expect, is superbly rounded and supple with finely integrated tannins sitting alongside the leather tinged red fruits and cedar oak. Mid weight but with enough fruit presence to satisfy any lamb dish.
