People went crazy for this wine last vintage as it won the Best English Rose award at the International Wine Challenge. Our allocation sold out within three hours, so we are delighted that we've managed to get a little bit extra this year. We think the wine is even better than the 2010. A vibrant red colour, the wine has a lovely nose of summer berries and red cherries. The palate is fresh and crisp with ripe red summer fruits along with subtle hints of peaches and galia melon and a soft creamy note. A little touch of residual sugar with good acidity and a really great length of flavour. If you buy one English rose this summer, this has to be it.
