As the name suggests, this wine was served on the (ill-fated) Zeppelin airships in the 1920's & 1930's. With fruit sourced exclusively from the Mosel's prestigious Mulheimer Sonnenlay vineyard, this is why we love Riesling: the clearest expression of citrus fruits, supported by touches of stone and meadow flowers. A trace of residual sugar keeps it perfectly in balance, equivalent to an old school delicate Kabinett. Utterly delicious and immensely enjoyable.
