A very serious bottle of wine from a very limited production. While Argentina is best known for its gutsy Malbecs this wine is more feminine in style. It still has power and great depth but has real elegance. Plenty of ripe plum fruit with subtle oak notes and a fantastic long, long finish. If this was from France you would be paying much nearer to £20 a bottle. But luckily it's from the still unfashionable and much ignored Argentina and thereby represents a real bargain for the money. Highly recommended.
