I'm sure we've all had the dream, buy a vineyard in France, make fabulous wine (maybe get involved in the winemaking process), sit back and live the dream! Well William Chase - of English vodka fame - did exactly that 3 years ago, this is the second vintage produced and it's fabulous stuff.
Salmon pink in colour (the bottle and packaging really stand out), flavours of white peach, pink grapefuit all combined with a steely minerality. Wine shows great depth with a lovely elegance.
Yes we know there are plenty of Provence Roses on the market, but this one really stands out from the crowd. I've drunk plenty of this over the summer already, even when the sun wasn't shining!
SC RATING - Outstanding (Adam)
