We've done very well with Pellehaut's wines as everyday drinkers and just back in is their rose, a blend of Merlot, Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon & Franc, and Syrah. This is flying out even more quickly this year after it was highlighted in The Times as one of the best summer drinkers under £10.
Whilst slightly richer than last year, this is still the perfect summer rose - dry, light, cherry and summer berry fruited with a subtle hint of spice, and incredibly quaffable. It doesn't last very long in my fridge at all.
SC RATING - Outstanding (for the price) (Mike)
