Château Puybarbe has existed for several centuries and vineyards were planted in the Roman times on the hillsides, but the oldest proof of winegrowing activity in Puybarbe dates from 1895 through the sale of the property.
This is a lovely red wine with fragrant aromas and lively flavours of dark plum, blackcurrants, green olives & white pepper
Ripe, tangy and punchy with a long, spicy finish, it has a fantastic balance yet it is simply brilliant from start to finish.
A true gem for the price.
