Tasting Notes

Floral, mineral and fresh on the nose, with scents of wild strawberry, raspberry, and red currant. Spicy and lively, the red fruit flavours showing good intensity and excellent clarity. Expands and gains power through the finish, with bright acids providing a firm, bright edge.

Producer Profile

Bodegas Artevin– is the latest collection of terroir-driven Spanish everyday wines from the team behind Don Sancho de Londoño. Made from sustainably grown grapes from special surrounding plots in central- northern Spain, sourced directly  from the family’s estate.

Viticulture

The Estate practice an integrated production with lower yields per hectare and with an ecological trend, in order to obtain a quality raw material that contains all the personality of soils and climate, recovering the values and origin of their viticulture.

Winemaking

Made from Garnacha and Tempranillo, the skins mix with the unfermented juice for five hours at 7 ºC. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The slow fermentation process (30 days at 12 ºC) allows the wine to retain a high degree of richness and flavour.
