Momo, which translates as 'offspring' in Maori is produced by Seresin and sourced entirely from organically grown Pinot Noir vineyards. It is named after Michael Seresin, who is a well-known cinematographer, having worked on several successful films before turning his hand to the markedly different task of wine.
It is Seresin’s entry level range but this is in no way an entry level wine. It has complex earthy and herbal characters with hints of cedar and mushroom on the nose. It is concentrated on the palate with succulent dark fruits layered over smoky oak and fine mouth coating tannins. A real treat for Pinot Noir lovers.
