Arneis is a variety that seems to becoming more popular, albeit slowly. This wine, imported directly, has an inviting nose of stone fruit with an apple blossom note. It's delicious on the palate, with lovely mouth feel and great purity. There's apricot and peach as well as fresh citrus notes and a touch of tropical fruit. The wine has a fine mineral edge to it, giving it a fresh feel, and it has a huge length of finish. One of those wines that manages to combine freshness and crispness with subtlety and depth. Top stuff.
