Champagne H. Blin is a union of vintners (Vincelles Cooperative) founded in 1947 by Henri Blin and 28 other growers located in Vincelles in Marne Valley, 25 minutes west of Epernay and Reims.
Champagne H. Blin are well known and regarded for their cuvées with a strong identity that expresses their unique character.
Their 110 hectares of vines, planted around Vincelles are predominantly Pinot Meunier (70%) but they also grow Chardonnay (16%) and Pinot Noir (14%).
This Vintage Champagne is a pale yellow colour with an abundance of very fine bubbles from the Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay blend.
Initially, discreet with scents of white flowers and ripe pear, the nose slowly opens to reveal more evolved notes of violet, cinnamon, honey and mint with a touch of brioche and it is creamy, with a long finish of passion fruit and orange flower.
Complex, seductive and sophisticated, this is a very elegant Champagne from this acclaimed Maison.
