Côte Chalonnaise is probably the birthplace of Crémant de Bourgogne. Indeed, in 1822 grape growers based in Rully and Mercurey invited a young Champagne winemaker to their estates. Burgundy sparkling wine was born.
A pale gold colour with linden hues. The bubbles are fine and harmoniously arranged in gracious ascending beads.
The nose is delicate and refined, evocative of fresh quinces and green apples, with traces of buttery brioche.
This style of Cremant is particularly elegant. White peach and mango aromas with underlying strawberry notes complement the rich bouquet of this uniquely persistent crémant.
