Le Contesse are a very accomplished family Prosecco and sparkling wine specialist and they make wines only from their own vineyards around Treviso in North Eastern Italy from the Glera grape.
Prosecco is traditionally made in a tank which allows the production of sparkling wine that retains the flavour of the base wine and is much cheaper and faster than bottle fermenting methods.
This DOC Prosecco has fine and persistent bubbles, is aromatic with a refined taste, fruitful & floral with notes of acacia flowers, apple and wisteria.
It has a balanced acidity and is a truly excellent aperitif.
