Le Contesse are a very accomplished family Prosecco and sparkling wine specialist and they make wines only from their own vineyards around Treviso in North Eastern Italy from the Glera grape.
Prosecco is traditionally made in a tank which allows the production of sparkling wine that retains the flavour of the base wine and is much cheaper and faster than bottle fermenting methods.
Pink Prosecco's colour comes from the Pinot Nero grape, which also brings with it some red berry aromas and subtle notes of strawberry on the palate with the bubbles delivering a creamy texture.
This DOC Prosecco Rose is dry in style, elegant with a delicious purity of fruit and an elegant, fine finish.
