Roebuck Estates Rosé De Noirs 2019

The Roebuck vineyards in Petworth span the width of the beautiful county of Sussex in the South of England.

In these picture perfect locations. there are a variety of soil types with a multitude of stylistic elements which combine when blending these classic English sparkling wines.

Their oldest vines were planted in 2006 at the home vineyard located close to the village of Tillington to the West of Petworth - classic Champagne varietals: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier lead the way here and the sandy soils on which they thrive give elegance and finesse to Roebuck sparkling wines.

Rosé de Noirs 2020 was carefully crafted from the finest hand picked Pinot Noir grapes grown at their Roman Villa vineyard.

The fruit destined for this wine was whole-bunch pressed and partially fermented in the finest Burgundian oak barrels followed by a generous lees ageing of 36 months in bottle.

A splash of Pinot Précoce was added prior to release imparting an attractive pale pink hue and ripe red fruit characteristics on this wine.

This sparkling rosé is vibrant and expressive with notes of wild strawberries, white peach and a hint of honeysuckle.

It's the perfect apéritif to be enjoyed with friends and family all year round.
