Champagne H. Blin is a union of vintners (Vincelles Cooperative) founded in 1947 by Henri Blin and 28 other growers located in Vincelles in Marne Valley, 25 minutes west of Epernay and Reims.
Champagne H. Blin are well known and regarded for their cuvées with a strong identity that expresses their unique character.
Their 110 hectares of vines, planted around Vincelles, are predominantly Pinot Meunier (70%) but they also grow Chardonnay (16%) and Pinot Noir (14%).
Their Brut is a delightful, golden wine with very fine bubbles, blended from mostly Pinot Meunier with a balance of Chardonnay.
Lovely ripe, beguiling nose of blossom and apple with a citrus freshness and nuances of freshly baked bread.
A balanced mouth whose supple creamy texture is prolonged by a fresh acidity that brings out the sliced apple and conference pear, with notes of toasty brioche.
Ripe, accessible, very well made, this makes a perfect aperitif.
