Red in colour with a mahogany hue. Slight notes of tobacco, leather and wood are perceived on the nose that recall its aging in French oak barrels and subtle aromas of nuts, mushrooms and herbs that characterize the bouquet developed by these wines. On the palate it reveals smoky tertiary aromas of great persistence and depth. A complex wine.
“Not quite up to the high standard of the 2009 release perhaps, but this is still a very tasty, mature red from Bodegas López, who have proved that wines from Maipú and Luján de Cuyo are capable of ageing well.
