Viticulture has been the focus of the Preisinger family for five generations.

What began in 1851 as mixed farming with animal husbandry has developed over generations into today’s winery.

The rocket is a carefully chosen symbol for their wines.

It stands for the journey through time that becomes possible through the enjoyment of strong charactered wines: the immersion into a past year, the taste structure of the past handed down through time to the present.

But also, the overcoming of distances – which good wine masters so well!

100% Blaufrankisch, sourced from vineyards planted in 1982 on permeable black earth gravel soil, sandy loam but lime free.

Hand picked in small boxes, pre-selection in the vineyard and then again once it reaches the winery.

Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and spontaneous fermentation in used barriques then aged for 18 months in used French oak barrels.

Similar in style to Pinot Noir, it has a dark ruby garnet with violet reflections and adelicate lightening at the edge.

A hint of figs and dried plums combine for an inviting bouquet.

Juicy, elegant, fine tannins, a good freshness and minerality make for a versatile food accompaniment.

It is dark berry, well structured and has a long finish.
