Pinot Noir Reserve 2022 Burgenland Muenzenrieder

The Muenzenrieder wine growing estate lies in the Neusiedlersee/Seewinkel national park.

Through natural cultivation methods, rigorous harvest scrutiny and controlled cellar operations, winegrowers Johann and Johannes Muenzenrieder produce potent wines marked with regional characteristics and tremendous intensity.

Enjoying the special microclimate of the sun drenched Seewinkel aera, fruitful, fresh white and dense & robust red wines flourish.

The adjoining Lake Neusiedl and numerous small marshes of the area serve as heat reservoirs, providing ample amounts of air moisture.

This Pinot Noir Reserve is fermented in stainless steel, followed by 14 days maceration and malolactic fermentation then 12 months in French oak barriques prior to bottling.

Dark berry fruit with a hint of orange zest followed by smoky nuances with a hint of tobacco.

Dense and juicy with fine grained tannins make this wine a pleasure to drink now, but it will continue to develop with time in bottle.
