This Merlot dominant blend is the result of a truly great Bordeaux vintage & Pomeys 2018 is intensely and deeply coloured with dark purple tints indicating its youth.
The nose is one of overripe fruit over an elegant, oak base.
The harmonious palate displays remarkable balance - it is well structured but not excessively so with creamy extracts enveloping the tannins.
A very promising wine that needs a few more years of patient waiting to express its full potential so will cellar well.
