Since 1905 the Vic family & Domaine Preignes le Vieux have been winemakers in the Languedoc where their vineyards stand on the remains of a Roman villa, Preixanum, that highlights over 2000 years of wine making.
The vineyard today is in excess of 340 hectares and here the family make a wide range of red, white and rose wines which are all firm favourites with us and our customers.
This Syrah has an intense ruby red colour with complex aromas of black fruits and a hint of vanilla.
It is rich and ample on the palate with silky, smooth tannins.
The perfect companion for any red or roasted meats, spicy meatballs or even wild boar ragu!
