The soil here in Tuscany is loose and deep, rich in marine fossils and rock fragments.
This is a very elegant Chianti, clear ruby red in clour, the wine has been aged in steel for about 6 months on lees.
Cherries, plums and sweet smoke notes abound, it is smooth and juicy with a pleasing finish & a hint of vanilla.
High tannins, high acidity with classic red fruit flavours, this is an excellent Chianti and great value for money
