The winery is situated at the heart of the Valpolicella Classico DOC in the village area of Marano.
The wine and grape skins go through a second fermentation together, during which tannins and phenolic compounds are leached out into the wine, creating Valpolicella Ripasso, often seen as a more cost effective way to enjoy some of the complexity of Amarone but without the pain on the wallet.
On the nose hints of chocolate and black cherry fruit with hints of raisins.
On the palate Le Tobele is velvet smooth, lingers, is beautifully structured with a balanced finish.
