Holden Manz Vernissage is a dark ruby red colour and has boquets of the aromas typical for the grape varieties Merlot (59%), Cabernet Sauvignon (19%), Syrah (18%) and Cabernet Franc (4%).
A divine scent of prunes, mulberries and ripe cherries rises to the nose surrounded by smokey tones and cloves.
Silky soft tannins tickle the palate, while notes of dark cherries, fresh raspberries, tobacco and herbs provide a unique taste experience.
This highly accessible and balanced red wine has been matured for 18 months in French oak and is a wonderful companion to all red meat and pasta dishes.
Vernissage is a private view for those intrigued by the name and refers to an art exhibition shown privately prior to public access.
