Home to the first bottled Pinotage, since 2012 Lanzerac vineyards have been undergoing extensive new vineyard developments, as well as eradicating old vineyards with the biggest increase in Pinotage and Chardonnay plantings.

The Lanzerac Le Général is a limited barrel selection of the best red wine of the 2021 vintage and this full bodied, Cabernet dominant, blend has aromas of vanilla, nutmeg & spice before enveloping your palate with dark berries, cooked plums and blackcurrants.
Dark chocolate, hints of smoke and smooth tannins lead to a memorable and sublime finish.
