Home to the first bottled Pinotage, since 2012 Lanzerac vineyards have been undergoing extensive new vineyard developments, as well as eradicating old vineyards with the biggest increase in Pinotage and Chardonnay plantings.
Their Premium & Heritage range of wines are an excellent selection of award winning single varietals for any occasion.
Lanzerac 2021 Merlot has an excellent deep red colour with ripe red berries, cocoa, slight mint and chocolate on the nose.
On the palate, the wine shows a well balanced tannin structure, rich body with fruit and a lingering after taste.
