As part of the same family that owns one of Bordeaux's best known Classed Growths, Château Carbonnieux, it is hardly surprising that Philibert Perrin has a passion for making good wine.
Perrin took over Lafont Menaut 6 years ago and consistently produces, dependable, high quality Bordeaux.
This is classic Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc and it is a beautiful, pale yellow colour with expressive aromas of Sauvignon such as citrus and exotic fruit.
The general structure is balanced between a fruity freshness (lemon and pineapple) and a nice volume due to its fine texture.
It finishes with a good length on the palate with notes of citrus and a light toast.
