La Vicomté was formed in 1977, and is located in the heart of the Languedoc region, between the towns of Béziers and Montpellier, with vineyards stretching out over a hilly area, illuminated by the southern sun.
Their 1,200 dedicated winegrowers cultivate more than 7,500 hectares of vines over 4 appellations.
Taking advantage of the Mediterranean climate, dry and arid during summertime and mild in the winter, La Vicomté harvest the most beautiful varieties of grapes such as Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cinsault, Grenache, Merlot, Pinot Noir and many others, grown on hilly terrains fed by sediments of the Hérault River, but also on more calcareous soils such as the Villefranchian terraces and semi slopes.
Appearing as a pale straw hue when poured into a glass, Grenache Blanc offers a delightful bouquet of scents, including zesty lemon, tangy grapefruit and the sweet essence of poached pear.
This enticing profile is complemented by subtle notes of spice, rich clotted cream, almond infused marzipan, finely crushed stones and delicate hints of white florals.
