The Domaine Mas Des Palombes sits along the southern side of the modern A9, which historically was the Via Domitia which connected Italy to Spain.
The road played an important part in expanding viticulture in the Languedoc, and putting Picpoul de Pinet wines on the map & the Via Domitia was also known as Via Reine Juliette after a queen of the same name who once travelled along it.
This is a refreshing, lip smacking style of white with a mineral, grapefruit tang and lime fresh acidities with green apple notes and good fruit in the mid palate.
This crisp white is bursting with citrus, apricots, white flowers and mineral notes and a hint of salt air on the nose.
The palate is dry but ripe with rich flavours of stone fruits and citrus and it is long and flavourful on the finish.
