Tenuta di Melo is part of the Rosso Cairo family's estate that also includes their biodynamic farm.
The family have invested heavily in the Gavi region for the last ten years to achieve sustainable agriculture and enhance the local terroir.
The estate has a mix of agriculture, chestnut woodlands mingle with cereal fields, vineyards and pastures which enhance the overall health of the ecosystem.
The Cortese grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tanks before being aged on the lees for three months, giving fantastic concentration, richness and mouth watering freshness.
Bright orchard fruits, runny honey and candied citrus fruits merge with subtle notes of almond.
Lively, balanced and ever so drinkable, especially paired with fresh fish or a big jug of Dublin Bay prawns and fresh mayo for dipping!!
