Roussanne/Marsanne 2020 Tuscany Menrva Fabbrica Pienza

Fabbrica was founded in 2013 with a sole objective - to make purist wines with a strong identity that best express the character of the Val d’Orcia unique Tuscan territory.

The climate of Pienza has strong analogies with the Rhone valley - it is less continental than the northern most part of the valley, with marked summer temperature variations, winds throughout the year, less hot than the lower Rhone Valley, but similarly rainy.

There is significant rainfall throughout the year, even in the driest month.

This unique blend of Roussanne & Marsanne is a straw yellow colour with a hint of pale green.

On the nose, the bouquet is intense with hints of lime, lemon and lime peel.

The palate is similarly rich, with balanced acidity and an almost savoury, full bodied structure that teases the tongue.
