Soave DOC 2024 Roncà Corte Giacobbe

Roncà is a small village a few kilometres from Soave in the eastern part of the DOC area and after Verona and Lake Garda, Soave is the third tourist centre in the Verona area and part of the village of Soave's fame is linked to the wine of the same name.

The vineyards surrounding the ancient Corte Giacobbe are located on the slopes of two extinct volcanoes, Calvarina and Crocetta: soils generally of volcanic origin, composed of lava and tuff, rich in micro elements.

From the Del Cero Family, this Soave is a straw yellow colour with pale greenish highlights and on the nose it displays many fragrances of plum and citron, tropical fruit and apricot are flanked by smooth chalk and emphatic wild herbs.

Appealing and well balanced on the palate, pushing through to a crisp finish hinting of bitter almond and it displays a vibrant vein of minerality.

Ideal served by itself as an aperitif wine and delicious partnered with lighter meats, fish and roasted vegetables.
