Soave Superiore DOCG Roncà 2023 Tenuta Corte Giacobbe

Roncà is a small village a few kilometres from Soave in the eastern part of the DOC area and after Verona and Lake Garda, Soave is the third tourist centre in the Verona area and part of the village of Soave's fame is linked to the wine of the same name.

The vineyards surrounding the ancient Corte Giacobbe are located on the slopes of two extinct volcanoes, Calvarina and Crocetta: soils generally of volcanic origin, composed of lava and tuff, rich in micro elements.

From the Del Cero Family, this Soave has a stylish bouquet of acacia and almond blossoms, peach, camomile, vanilla and sulphur tempt the nose with a clean vein of minerality, finishing with pungent sage and rosemary.

It has a fine supportive structure with crisp fruit that gives both vibrancy and length.

Pairs beautifully with elaborate dishes, even those with rich sauces such as risotto and porcinis, cod alla vicentina and fish such as salmon, scallops and crab.
