This cool climate and altitude allows for the perfect ripening of grapes, creating wines that have freshness, flavour and balance.
IDUN is the Norse Goddess of fertillity and eternal life and this wine of real character is an exemplary example of Chardonnay from the Elgin Ward, where the altitude is an important cooling influence on the vines.
This Idun Renaissance Chardonnay is pale gold in colour, with aromas of stewed fruits, candy and zesty lime.
The palate is full and rich, yet with a delicate touch and the finish is well balanced and extremely elegant as you would expect from these producers.
