Nuiba takes it name from the farm in Nambia where Suzanne Coetzee grew up, but she is actually based in Stellenbosch.
Made from Stellenbosch grapes, the grapes were basket pressed - the Semillon was fermented in barrel and spent 7 months in barrel on the thick lees before being blended with unwooded Sauvignon blanc.
It is a pale, yellow straw colour with green flashes when held up to the light and this zesty wine is full generous ripe fruit aromas such as white fleshed peaches with grassy undertones.
The palate shows lively green apple and citrus with a soft mid-palate and a refreshing finish with fabulous Sauvignon fruit, flavours, sweet limes, melon, mango while the Semillon gives it weight on the palate and well integrated oak adds a rich creamy taste.
